I know conventions tend to be expensive.  However, if you join RE/MAX and attend, I guarantee that it will change your life.  Last convention, I earned by CRB.  Not only did I attend the class before the convention began, but it was taped and broadcast to every RE/MAX office for their agents and brokers to watch and learn from.  They could even register and get CRB credits for taking the class over the RE/MAX Satellite Network.

The conventions are 40 hours of concentrated class time on everything to laws, computer web sites to the newest technologies.  Huge seminars by the industry leaders, noted professionals in other areas, inspirational speakers like Schwartzcof or Lou Holtz and much more.  Add in great food, an ice cream social, convention marketplace and the ability to speak with people who earn over a million dollars a year from real estate, and .....   You arrive tired and leave more tired.  However, you are rejuvenated and are full of ambition, ideas and desire to do better.  Sure, you do not implement more than 20% of the ideas, but it is a start.  Every year that motivation and inspiration leads you to a more profitable plateau.  Awards Night with it's fine cuisine and endless parade of agents making over $100,000 a year to over a million dollars.  Then on fun night, you let your hair down.  Great food, your favorite beverage and the likes of Three Dog Night, The Blues Brothers, John Belushi and the Sacred Hearts Band, Glenn Hart or Jefferson Starship entertain you.  Here are some photos to wet your whistle as to what RE/MAX is all about.  Education, Professionalism, Self Promotion, and being the best in what it does and to help you be the best you can be.  Then before you leave, you rent a car and spend an afternoon seeing the sights and attempt to remember it all.

It's the agent that makes things work.  It is the company that provides the tools.  Conventions are about the people, not pictures, about the experience, the inspiration  and the learning.  This is just a glimpse of the convention.
